Summary: Taking The Next Step is a one-day, conference-style program early in Uchicago’s Winter Quarter that allows first-year students to explore career options and prepare for their first-year summer. Alumni from 25+ different industries are selected to host career panels and networking breakouts to offer advice, answer questions, and help prepare for finding a summer opportunity.
